I grew up in New York, state, not city. My parents were divorced.
Meeting Jesus saved me from depression as a teenager. Going to a
Christian college increased my cynicism. Working at a law firm killed a
part of my soul. Getting through seminary gave me some hope and a heap
of student debt. Nannying showed me the kind of parent I NEVER want to
be. A year of near unemployment taught me to be thankful for friends.
Working at a Christian non-profit reminds me to seek grace every day.
Binding books shows me that beauty and order live in harmony. And
running teaches humility and perseverance.
